Adult Matric – Amended Senior Certificate (ASC)
About This Course
Overview
No matter how many years you have been out of school, you still have the chance to get your matric certificate. The new Amended Senior Certificate now utilise the National Senior Certificate (NSC), i.e CAPS subjects and will retail its structure. The exams of the Amended Senior Certificate (Old Syllabus) will be written in June/July 2022.
In order to obtain a matric certificate, one will have to pass 2 official languages and any other four subjects.
Studies are offered at Full-time basis (Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm) or Part-time basis or Saturday Classes (8am to 2pm) Hybrid classes which comprises of Online and Distance Learning also available.
Requirements
- The following candidates will qualify for admission to the Senior Certificate:
- Adult learners who are 21 years and older who have:
- Adult learners with an incomplete Senior Certificate qualification.
- Adult learners with an incomplete National Senior Certificate
- Only in exceptional cases, out of school youth, who are 18-21 years old and who could not complete their school education due to circumstances beyond their control, as verified by the Head of Department in the Provincial Education Departmen
