Course Description:
Community Health Work (NQF Level 4) will equip the learner with essential skills and knowledge to perform Ancillary Health Care functions. Core unit standards consist of understanding and applying primary health care within a community, HIV and AIDS information and treatment options.
The course also covers information about dealing with Tuberculosis. Learners will also be taught how to perform first aid.
Its a one year course comprising of Theory and Practicals. Practicals are done at reputable health institutions.
