Kick start a career in the Health Care field with this amazing one year course. Community Health Work Level 4 is ideal for the candidates who do not have a grade 12 qualification, but would like to enter a career path in the medical field. Learners with a grade 12 pass has an added advantage. Learners who complete these full qualifications and skills programme will possess the competence required to perform ancillary health functions in the medical field.
After training the candidates will be awarded a further education and training certificate and will be eligible for certain credit recognition in various higher education health qualifications.
This course is accredited and certified by the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA).

Community Health Work Level 4 Course Description
Community Health Work (NQF Level 4) will equip the learner with essential skills and knowledge to perform Ancillary Health Care functions. Core unit standards consist of understanding and applying primary health care within a community, HIV and AIDS information and treatment options.
The course also covers information about dealing with Tuberculosis. Learners will also be taught how to perform first aid.
Its a one year course comprising of Theory and Practicals. Practicals are done at reputable health institutions.
