These courses are ideal for the candidates who do not have a grade 12 qualification, but would like to enter a career path in the medical field. Learners with a grade 12 pass has an added advantage. Learners who complete these full qualifications and skills programme will possess the competence required to perform ancillary health functions in the medical field. After training the candidates will be awarded a further education and training certificate and will be eligible for certain credit recognition in various higher education health qualifications. All these courses are accredited by and certified by the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA).Important Notice: Please that Whitestone College does NOT offer Auxiliary Nursing, Staff Nurse or any other course certified by South African Nursing Council (SANC). We offer Community Health Work Level 2 and 3 certified by HWSETA.
Course Description:
This qualification is an entry-level qualification for those who want to enter the field of Child & Youth Care Work as a potential career. The course will enable you carry out clearly defined tasks and activities which contribute to holistic care and development of the young person. Describe and uphold the rights of young people, and promote these in their practice. Solve common problems within familiar contexts. Demonstrate understanding of on-line and consultative supervision and its role in the provision of care and personal development.
