A Brief Background

Whitestone College (Pty) Ltd is a Private Further Education and Training College accredited by Umalusi, Council for Quality Assurance in General & Further Education, QCTO, the Quality Council for Trades & Occupations and provisionally registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training DHET as a private Further Education & Training (FET) provider. Whitestone College is also accredited by various Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), namely Health and Welfare SETA (HWSETA) for the health courses and Media, Information and Communication Technologies (MICTSETA) for Information Technology (IT) and Media Courses and Public Services SETA PSETA) for Public Administration Courses. All courses offered by Whitestone College are nationally and internationally recognised.

The college is headquartered at 77 Harrison Street in Johannesburg and operates three satelite campuses in North West (30 Boom Street, Saambou Building, Klerksdorp) and Free State (84 Charlotte Maxeke Street, Luries Building, Bloemfontein).

Whitestone College opened its doors to the public in 2009. In its 6 years of operation Whitestone College has seen more than 20, 000 students walk through its doors – the majority of whom left the college with Matric after upgrading the symbols or those doing Matric (Grade 12) for the first time, Matric equivalent and post-Matric qualifications such as National Certificates and National Diplomas.
